Its Monday and ive got a lot to tell!!!

Well this weekend was very productive, I managed to rest quite a bit and at the same time get a lot done, Saturday was scorching so I decided to hit the beach, Lyndle decided to lie in the sun and tan, whilst myself and my friend Tim, swam and played a lil bit of soccer.

Other than that, we played some poker on saturday evening, a sit and go tournament, payed 10 bucks to enter, and was in the final with my friend Peter, man oh man, I was supposed to win that match, but it was 3am and I wanted to finish up and go home, I got dealt a Ace, King, of clubs….. On the flop there was a 8 of clubs, a ace and a king…. 2 pair and I still got the opportunity of getting a full house on the turn or river…. Well I wasn’t so fortunate, and he beat me with a flush……

Lost 10 bucks and he won 70…. not to bad i suppose…

I lost my Nokia n80 so I claimed from insurance and they will be replacing it with an HTC P4 350, so I will shortly post a complete review of the HTC P4 350 for your reading pleasure.

Half way through the week!

Is it just me or is this month INCREDIBLY slow? im going on leave on the 28th of december until the 8th of Jan and it feels like the day is never coming!

Well yesterday we attended Tyrones memorial service, it was absolutely heart wrenching! RIP Tyrone

Other than that I lost my cellphone the other day, it was a nokia n80, so Im having to claim from insurance for a new one, presumably a better phone than the previous one.

oh! and as you know I added a download section which IS STILL EMPTY, namely because of the faulty coding in the script which we managed to fix, although the new coding sucks (no offense ryan) lol.

I still havent got any requests for mp3 or pic or video downloads you would like, so please request here and I will get any song you want in a matter of 2 - 3 hours.

Its Friday Again

ITS FRIDAY!!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO

Phew what a hectic week its been, I havent written in a while because I have been so busy and im sooooo tired, well alot has happened this week, on the 5th it was my much anticipated Birthday, unfortunately, we were advised about a very sad loss, Lyndles, Sisters Friend, Tyron Died, it was horrible news and my condolences go out to his wife Marion and 18 month old baby boy.

Tyron was very full of life, I had only met him plus minus 4 times, but everytime we met he was always smiling and happy and so full of life! It is a huge shock to all of us that he is gone, and i dont think anyone has quite come to terms with it yet, his funeral is this coming Tuesday at 10am, which I will be attending.

Other than that, I went out for Pizza with Lyndle to celebrate my birthday and just kept it low key as I have been very tired lately….

This weekend comes along with some much need rest!

Hopefully I will get some studying done as well, so that I can start writing my exams!

Anyhow I hope everyone has a marvelous weekend and take it easy!

9am and still so much has already happened today.

Despite the fact I woke up feeling as I had just climbed in bed my head pounding louder than an angry wife at the door, its a good day.

Dropped Lyndle, (my girlfriend) off at work, made my way home and enjoyed my breakfast, this is where the strange part comes in! On my way back to her work to drop the keys off, I was attacked by a swarm of bee’s, I shit you not, I was driving with my window wide open due to the fact that its blistering hot outside, and all of a sudden, I see a swarm of bees, flying around in the middle of the road, at first I thought it was grass or flies, I wasn’t quite, sure (I think its the fact that my mind was in denial!), but I actually had to stop my car to take a corner past oncoming traffic, I quickly wound my window up as the bees surrounded my car and a few cars around.

I thought I won the battle, as I wheel spun away and parked at the parking lot, to be met by s smiling and welcoming lyndle, as soon as I saw her I saw the smile drop from her face, oh my god, I am absolutely terrified of bee’s and to know that THERE WAS ONE ON MY ARM, lyndle came to my rescue and quickly brushed it off with the force of a gladiator, I spun around to see if there were any more of the little beastlike terrors in my car and there were 2 little sods flying around in my back window, I opened the boot up and 1 made its exit, and I have no idea where the other one was.

At this point I must shamelessly admit i was rather hysterical, talking rather loudly about the swarm of bee’s and passer by’s giving me the evil eye as in ‘what the hell as that freak been smoking’ but i didnt pay attention.

Lyndle made her exit back to work as I handed the keys over to her, seems like the little terrors are gone as I made one last weary inspection to all departments in the car, I was greeted by Lyndles boss having a smoke outside, I again started ranting and raving about the bee’s, and got a few more evil eyes, but hey ‘what the hell’ YOU HAD TO BE THERE!

I jumped in my car, and made a speedy get away, the drive to work was mostly unpleasant to say the least because I still felt them walking all over me, I was 5 minutes late, luckily I have an understanding boss (Im never late for work) and I must say Ashley (My Boss) found the story highly amusing.

I suppose as Im writing this, I must say I too find it amusing, but at the time, it was anything but!

Anyhow, so far is an event filled day, lets see what the rest holds in store!

The squatters in West Beach

As Im sure you have heard, the outskirts of west beach have been rudely invaded by squatters! Property prices plummet on just the mention of the event, should we worry? YES WE SHOULD! but realistically, what cone be done, nothing much, the property is owned by government, and its constitution that government departments do not challenge each other in court, and that teamed up with the fact that it is everyones constitutional right in South Africa to basic housing, we are fighting a losing and endless battle!

As a matter of fact, government has just recently put in 2 taps so they have running water and will soon be giving them toilets as well! Most certainely making there stay so much more comfortable.

Dont get me wrong, I am not a person that spreads hate speech or racisim, but this is ridiculous, the location has spread to 40 holdings and approximately 75 squatters currently staying in the squatter camp, there is also 2 shebeens already setup.

Is it pure coincidence that since the squatter camp developement we have encountered more robberys, attempted rapes, and housebreaking? I think not.

The safest thing to do at the moment in my opinion is leave the area, it is bad enough how property prices are plummeting at an absolutely astounding rate, but to put yourself in personal danger? Is just not worth it!

Perhaps one day our Mayor will catch a wake up and see how disgusting these shacks look, and how they spoil the absolutely beautiful scenery along the West Coast Road.

Build them houses and get the shacks outta there!

More or less a year ago, nokia released the much anticiated nokia n95, the phone set a new standard to the market, absolutely unbeleivable, only to now be successed by the even more anticipated nokia 95 8GB!

Ofcourse Im a honest guy so, there has to be a few disdvantages, these are namely.

• Cannot edit office documents

Why in the heaven they would leave the card slot out?????

Anyway…

Comparing the n95 8b and the n95 itself, which is a better buy? in my opinion, the 8gb, its pretty looking and has some great features, although I have always prefered the symbian s60 o/s which is now replaced, i’ll let that slide and say…

If you have the opportunity to get the n95 8gb, do it, you wont be sorry!
